For the past few years I have been searching for and trying to find the best quick weight loss diet plan. I have tried the vegan diet, juicing diet, paleo diet…all with little success. And I know that diets don’t work, but for most people looking for some simple rules, I knew that I could find the best quick weight loss diet plan.
I know, have preached, and been preached to about eating more fruits and veggies and maintaining a good exercise routine. Yeah…great….but I’m busy!
What if you could tell me a few simple rules that I could follow that wouldn’t involve eating a ton of food? Is that so hard?
You would think it wouldn’t be that hard, but it only took me 5 years to figure it out.
My Failed Diet Plans
In 2011 after my ACL surgery, I was sitting on the couch watching Netflix during my recovery. If you have every had a surgery like that it sucks, all you can do is sit there. Ugh.
Anyway, I was sitting there watching documentaries and found a couple on juicing and the China Study. For the next year I was Vegan and began to be the sickest version of myself yet.
But I thought Veganism was healthy? That discussion is for another day, to be successful you have to be an expert in the kitchen and always prepping your food and constantly eating at home. Personally, I just didn’t have the time or bandwidth for that. But I was dedicated a put a year into trying to make it work.
The main reason I failed was because I didn’t have enough energy to get me through the day and muscle recovery just didn’t exist. Plain and simple.
After I added meat and dairy back into my diet I was still looking for the best weight loss diet plan that had a few simple rules.
Based on that I tried the Paleo Diet. Again, I failed miserably, but improved on one of my diet plan criteria: Recovery. On the Paleo Diet I didn’t have enough energy to get me through the day but I had better recovery than on the Vegan plan..

As they say, persistence pays off. In November of last year a client of mine told me about a weight loss book called Why We Get Fat! I was interested so I picked up a copy on Amazon.
The book was a science book and was mainly fact based research. I mean the reference index was about as long as the book itself.

How I Follow These Simple Rules
I really was blown away by this plan. As you find out in the book, it is basically a better version of the Atkins plan and yes Atkins was heading down the right path.
How it works…
You get your energy from healthy fats, and without taking in grains like wheat, corn, or rice that you body turns into sugar (rule 2). Aside from my occasional beer, I really didn’t have a craving for sugar, soda, or juices.
Since November I followed the best quick weight loss diet plan and can report that it is amazing! I have a breakfast of bacon and eggs, followed up by a ton of taste that I got from this meal plan.
I lost 12 pounds off the bat and have more energy than ever before. I also don’t have to eat that much food like i did on the standard diet (60% carbs, 20% fat, 20% protein), I don’t count calories…I just eat food! It’s really that simple.
This really is the way to go as far as a long term diet plan that is simple to follow. It is a simplified Ketogenic Diet that is easy to follow.
